Privacy policy

Sportivo ("we", "us") operates the Sportivo mobile application and the website at sportivoapp.gr. This page describes what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What we collect
- Account data: name, email, phone number, profile photo (optional), city.
- Booking data: courts you book, players you book with, dates and times.
- Payment data: processed by Viva Wallet, our PCI-DSS-compliant payment partner. We never see or store full card numbers.
- Device data: operating system, app version, anonymised crash reports.
- Location data: only while you actively use the "find courts near me" feature, and only with your explicit OS-level permission.
Why we use it
To deliver the service you asked for (bookings, matchmaking, payments), to keep the platform safe, to improve product quality, and to comply with Greek tax and consumer-protection law.
Who we share it with
Only the parties we strictly need to run the service: Viva Wallet (payments), Supabase (our database host, EU region), Apple/Google (only the platform-level data they need for app distribution and push notifications), and the venue where you book (your name and contact, so they know who is on court).
We do not sell your data to anyone. Ever.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, port, restrict and delete your data, and to object to processing. Email privacy@sportivoapp.gr and we'll respond within 30 days. You can also delete your account directly from the app: Settings → Account → Delete account.
Data retention
We keep account data while your account is active and for 12 months after deletion (so you can change your mind). Booking records that relate to a payment are kept for the period Greek tax law requires (currently 5 years), then deleted.
Complaints
You can complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority at dpa.gr.
