Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Sportivo: the mobile app, the website, and any related services run by Sportivo P.C. ("Sportivo", "we"). By creating an account you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use the service.

1. What Sportivo does

Sportivo is a marketplace that connects players with sports venues, and connects players with other players who want to play. We process bookings and payments on behalf of venues. We are not the venue ourselves and we don't coach, referee or supervise games.

2. Accounts

You must be 16 or older. You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Bookings and payments

When you book a court, the contract for the use of that court is between you and the venue. Sportivo collects the payment on behalf of the venue. Cancellation, refund and no-show rules are set per-venue and are shown to you before you confirm a booking.

4. Open games and conduct

Joining an open game is at your own risk. Show up on time, follow the rules of the sport and the venue, and treat other players with respect. We may suspend accounts that harass, no-show repeatedly, or otherwise damage the experience for everyone else.

5. For venue partners

Venues that list with Sportivo agree to honour the bookings made through the platform, to keep their availability accurate, and to pay the agreed commission per completed booking. Detailed partnership terms are in your venue agreement.

6. Liability

Sports involve physical risk. Sportivo isn't liable for injury, loss or damage that happens at a venue or during a game. To the extent permitted by Greek law, our total liability for anything related to the service is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

7. Changes

We'll update these terms as the service evolves. If a change is material we'll tell you in the app at least 30 days in advance. Continuing to use Sportivo after that means you accept the new terms.

8. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Greek law. Disputes are subject to the courts of Athens, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules that may apply where you live.
